Andrew Carnegie: “FLEXIBILITY. By this term I have reference to the ability to adapt one ’s self to quickly changing circumstances, and emergencies, without losing one’s sense of balance. A man with a flexible disposition must be something like a chameleon, the little member of the reptile family that quickly changes its color to harmonize with its environment. Without this ability an attractive personality is hardly possible, as the ever-changing conditions of life and of human relationships require individual adaptability.”
